Ghana’s number one urban radio, Y107.9FM is set to begin the ‘What Can You Do on Y’ segment of its breakfast show Ryse N Shyne on Monday,19th July, 2021.
The segment was introduced under the Y Refresh campaign which presented a healthy mix of fun, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and giveaways. Under the ‘What Can You Do on Y’ segment, listeners give responses to what they can do with a certain offer from YFM. Then, the listener with the best answer wins the offer.
The previous activations under this segment included a presentation of a cow to the Chief Imam, Sheikh Dr. Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, a hangout with Reggie Rockstone, a session with Ghanaian producer Kuvie, shoe making master class at Ranco Shoes, a presentation of 200 hand sanitizers, among others.
Programmes Manager of YFM, Eddy Blay, speaking on the new season of the segment revealed that the new season has exciting offers including one with HeyCo Tech and the entire Global Media Alliance broadcasting network.
“It is satisfying to observe how people use the opportunity or offer given them to impact other people’s lives. I can recall the eventful moment we had when we presented a cow to the Chief Imam ahead of the Eid-Al-Adha celebrations last year.
