Fast-rising Nigerian artiste Face B, born John Ogar Odey, in an interview with Kojo Manuel on Y107.9 FM’s “Dryve of Your Lyfe” reaffirmed his nationality as a Nigerian.
Face B who appears to be Ghanaian native to a large majority of music patriots in the country indicated that this does not come as news to him as he’s often seen in Ghana.
He disclosed that he has been in the country basically because he’s signed to a Ghanaian record label, known as the “Red Panthers”
“I’m a Nigerian but I’m currently signed to a Ghanaian record label so I’ve been in the country for a while. I’m signed to the Red Panthers here in Ghana.” He said
Well to some Ghanaians, this comes as surprise and would probably be thinking about how this ever happened but for Face B, “it’s the meeting of divine purpose.”
“I was in Ghana for my media tour and this happened for me in one of the stations I went to. So, one or two things led to the other and it happened.”
The sensational Afrobeat artiste further indicated that he has been around the industry music scene for quite a long time now.
“I’ve been in the system for quite some time now and my first music studio record was in 2009 so probably I’ve been in the game for 19 years. Yeah, I’ve been around for some years,” he added.
Face B is currently on a media tour promoting his sounds and current track single titled “Tortorrimi”
