Ghanaian rapper, Yaw Tog has opened up on his break from the music scene, sharing some experiences and lessons learnt in the industry as a young artiste in the space.

In an interview with Chelsy Sey on Y97.9 FM’s “Ryse N Shyne” entertainment radio show, the ‘Young Bull’ trying to live his dream admitted to being a victim of spiritual attacks.

He reiterated that it was best to attend to his well-being as an individual and avoid being overwhelmed by the circumstances.

Yaw Tog however assured fans that he has never considered retiring from music at such an early stage and promises to continue thrilling fans with bangers.

“I’ll say yes spirituality also counted because I felt a lot. I didn’t want a situation where I’d be like this whole thing was too much to handle. I’m 100% ready for the music and I can’t just quit. So, I made up my mind to just chill, work on my stuff and whenever I feel like releasing I do that. I’m good now but my only regret was I took things for granted,” he told Chelsy Sey.

Describing the aftermath of the whole experience, he furthered, “This music thing is like a journey. It’s a long journey for me and it’s not like a limited one like say 10 years. So sometimes I feel like it’s just there, it happens and you just come back from everything that pulled you off. It just needs to happen like take a break. I just tried to chill and do more stuff with my album before I bounced back.”

Yaw Tog also revealed that he has been earnestly working on his forthcoming album while staying away from social media.

The ‘Sore’ hitmaker will be hosting his maiden concert dubbed “9 over Nine Summer Jam” on October 1 at Rattray Park in Kumasi.
