Upcoming Ghanaian singer who many say looks like Rihanna, Chayuta, has explained everything about Sky Girls and what they do.
Spekaing to LJ on y107.9FM’s RyseNShyne show, she explained, “Sky Girls is basically a community for teen girls to help with themselves. Like their self confidence, self esteem and everything. So it’s a fun amazing group of girls and we come together, share lots of stories, get to know each other and also help each other grow.”
Talking about why they chose the name Sky Girls, Shaibu, who was also on the show stated that they chose the name because they believe the sky is their limit, and they also believe they will be able to achieve whatever they put their minds to with nothing stopping them.
“We believe we are unstoppable. I have been a Sky Girl since I was 16 and I’m currently 24 and I’m still a Sky Girl. The experience so far has been great and it has shaped my thinking, my way of life and has given me a community I feel like I belong to.”
Chayuta added that Sky is basically there to give all girls the confidence to be who they are and also follow their passion.
