Ghana’s leading urban radio station and the official radio frequency for the Young and Young at Heart, YFM, has announced the second edition of the world’s most epic December party series dubbed, the “Y Holiday Havoc”.
The ground-breaking initiative launched in 2021, has been tailored to highlight major events and activities hosted in Ghana that will help create lifetime of holiday season memories for the world’s revelers during this year’s festive season.
As part of this year’s special celebrations, YFM has been named “Havoc Radio” through the month of December.
It has also announced several amazing partnership with the major party themes including Wildaland among others as it promises to exhilarate revelers with excellent memorable jams across the big events in Ghana.
The Head of YFM Triangle, Osei Kuffour reiterated the essence of the initiative and the brand’s commitment to supporting the creative space in Ghana, especially with the country distinctively regarded as the gateway to Africa.
“YFM, Ghana’s number one urban radio and leading music station launched the “Y Holiday Havoc” to support key events and festivals in curating unforgettable memories for revelers during this year’s festive season,” he said.
He also added, “YFM has always played an important role during every December in supporting great events and activities that speak to our audience – The Young and Young at Heart. After the Year of Return in 2019, Ghana is seen as the global destination in December. So, as a station, we want to capture the minds of all – Ghanaians and those in the Diaspora to create unforgettable memories.”
Authorities say the country is expecting about 150,000 tourist arrivals this month, mostly from America, Nigeria, UK, Germany, China, The Netherlands among others.
