Young rising Ghanaian lyricist and rapper, Osman El- Alawa Jnr professionally known as Sizz the Truth has likened the nature of his upcoming EP, “Smooth Operator” to the Pirates of the Caribbean star Johnny Depp who starred in the movie series as Captain Jack Sparrow.
The young artiste expressed himself on how much passion he infuses into his music as a professional who has been in the industry for four years and has earned himself an impressive number of streams within and beyond Ghana.
Sizz the Truth’s unique style sees him effortlessly fuse African languages, both Ghanaian and Nigerian in his songs. “I speak enough Nigerian tongue to make songs with,” he added.
The multi-generic singer used Captain Jack Sparrow as the best character to describe the nature of his EP on Y107.9FM’s Ryse N’ Shyne with host Brown Berry.
He insinuated the ability of the fictional character to come out of life-threatening situations as almost impossible.
“When you characterize Jack Sparrow, you always wonder if Jack Sparrow is going to get out of this and he just does. That is how the Smooth Operator EP is,” he explained.
Inspired by many other artistes climbing greater heights and making a mark in the music industry, he mentioned a few notable African artistes like Ghana’s King of Rap, Sarkodie and Nigeria’s King Kong, Burna Boy as artistes he would desire to make music with in his further endeavours.
The thriving singer urged all listeners and fans to stream his newly released single “Cool Me Down” which is featured in the “Smooth Operator EP” set to be released to welcome fans into 2023.
