In an exclusive interview on Ghana’s no.1 urban radio station, Y 107.9 FM’s “Myd Morning Radio Show” with Rev Erskine, Miss Lanier said, “It all started since I was a child. My grandma had these church tapes and a recorder, I’d re-record over her church tapes my little songs. I was really mixing it and messing it up. So yes, I’ve been doing music all my life and definitely singing all my life.”
The ‘RnB’ singer does not only come across as a recording artiste but also an actress, performance artist, and esync licensing expert. She has been featured on television shows like American Idol, The Tonight Show, Empire and The Chi among other notable ones.
For her, 100 percent of her time is about creating and being in the entrepreneurial phase. “I feel all my time is embedded in my creative work because I’m equal part a creative and an entrepreneur,” she told Rev Erskine.
Kiara visited Ghana during the December festive period as she described the West African country as her “personal haven”.
She further promised to expand her syncing network to Ghana to help other acts and creatives to become financially empowered.
