Multifaceted Austrian singer, Rose May Alaba has expressed her admiration for Ghanaian artiste King Promise, stating that he is her favorite Ghanaian artiste.
In an exclusive interview on Y 107.9 FM’s “Shouts On Y” with Winston Michael, the Austrian singer disclosed that she would love to collaborate with the “Terminator” star, describing his sound as “unique”.
“I’m thinking of working with King Promise. He’s my favorite, and I like his voice and his sound.” This announcement has sparked excitement among fans of both artistes, who eagerly anticipate a musical collaboration between the two talented individuals.
In addition to discussing her favourite artiste, Rose May Alaba also shared insights into her upcoming projects as she revealed that she and her team are actively working on a new EP. The talented singer-songwriter expressed enthusiasm about this upcoming endeavour, emphasizing that it will showcase her growth as an artiste
Rose May Alaba further revealed her plans to focus on collaborations with both Nigeria and Ghanaian talents for her new project. She stated, “We’re looking forward to releasing a new EP, a new project somewhere next year. And we’re hoping to do a lot of that in Nigeria and also pass through Ghana as well.”
This statement indicates her desire to connect with her African roots and engage with her fan base in around the continent.
Rose May Alaba is currently on a media tour in Ghana to explore her musical talent and promote her sound across the continent. She is best known for her 2016 single, Love Me Right, which peaked at number 1 on the Austrian iTunes chart for over four weeks.
Aside from her artistic fame, she’s popularly known as the sister to David Alaba, the captain of the Austrian men’s national team and Real Madrid defender.
