Selena Gomez, a singer and actress in the US, married music producer Benny Blanco in California on Saturday.

Gomez announced her wedding to Instagram, posting pictures of her in a white halter-cut wedding dress and her now-husband in a dark colored tuxedo. Her post was captioned “9.27.25” with heart emojis on each end, to signify their wedding date. Blanco commented, “My wife in real life” under the post to further commemorate the new chapter in their relationship.
According to Vogue, on Saturday in Santa Barbara, the newlywed couple exchanged their wedding vows in front of their approximately 170 guests. These guests included global pop star Taylor Swift, US actor Paul Rudd, and Gomez’ co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short from “Only Murders in the Building.”
Gomez and Blanco created many musical projects together before dating for a year and getting engaged to each other in December of 2024.
They explored their love story on the album “I Said I Love You First” that was released in March of this year. Prior to this album, they released the hit songs “Same Old Love” and “Kill Em with Kindness” in 2015, and in 2019 released “I Can’t Get Enough” with Tainy and J Balvin.
Before her music career kicked off in the 2000s, Selena Gomez starred in Disney Channel’s “Wizards of Waverly Place.” Most recently, she starred in the movie Emilia Perez where she played Jessica Del Monte.
“Friends Keep Secrets,” Blanco’s only studio album, was released in 2018, and he has produced music for pop stars including Katy Perry, Kesha, and Britney Spears.
