Ghana’s senior national team, the Black Stars, have officially opened their training camp in Vienna, with 14 players reporting on the first day of preparations.
Captain Jordan Ayew headlines the early arrivals, alongside a mix of new and emerging talents including Benjamin Asare, Patric Pfeiffer, Ibrahim Sulemana, Prince Kwabena Adu, Jonas Adjetey, Daniel Agyei, Derrick Kohn, Marvin Senaya, Gideon Mensah, Elisha Owusu, Kwasi Sibo, Jerome Opoku, and Joseph Tetteh Anang.
More players are expected to join the camp as the squad builds towards full training in the Austrian capital, marking the start of an intensive preparation phase.
Ghana will take on the Austria national football team in an international friendly on March 27, as part of preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
