Award-winning Ghanaian musician, Kofi Kinaata, has announced the extension of his appointment as a Goodwill Ambassador for the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
The extension of his role highlights his growing influence beyond music, as he continues to use his platform to champion social causes and contribute to national and global conversations on migration.
The ‘Things Fall Apart’ hitmaker shared the update in a post on X, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to continue serving in the role while reaffirming his commitment to migration advocacy.
“I’m honoured to continue my role as a Goodwill Ambassador for the International Organization for Migration,” he wrote. “Through this renewed partnership, I remain committed to raising awareness on migration issues, amplifying migrant voices, and promoting safe and dignified migration for all.”
Kofi Kinaata further noted that he looks forward to deepening the impact of his work with the organization, adding that the journey ahead presents an opportunity to drive meaningful change.
Kofi Kinaata has been working with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) since November 2017, when he was first appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador. His extension presently marks nine years in holding this role promoting safe and regular migration.
