Ghana’s number one urban and youth radio station, YFM Ghana, in partnership with the University of Ghana’s Mensah Sarbah Hall, has officially announced the upcoming Hall Week celebration dubbed Ascenova 2026.
Scheduled to run from July 18 to July 25, 2026, the week-long celebration is expected to bring together students, alumni, and members of the university community for a series of activities aimed at promoting unity, excellence, entertainment, and student engagement.

The announcement comes on the back of a recently signed strategic partnership between YFM and the Mensah Sarbah Hall JCR, a collaboration that both institutions believe will elevate the Hall Week experience while creating opportunities for students beyond the festivities.
Speaking on the partnership and the upcoming celebration, Mensah Sarbah Hall JCR President, Nana Yaa Agyeman, described the collaboration as a significant milestone for the hall.
“I am very happy about this official partnership between the YFM brand and Mensah Sarbah. We have our Hall Week approaching, dubbed Ascenova, and we are set to do great things with this partnership. We are moving higher,” she said.
According to the JCR President, Ascenova 2026 represents more than just a week of celebration. It is expected to serve as a platform to showcase the hall’s rich traditions, vibrant student culture, and commitment to excellence while creating memorable experiences for patrons.
With YFM coming on board as a key partner, expectations are high for what promises to be one of the most exciting editions of Mensah Sarbah Hall Week in recent years. The partnership is also expected to leverage YFM’s strong youth presence and media influence to amplify the reach and impact of the event and leave a lasting impression on patrons and participants alike.

The Hall Week is powered by YFM Ghana which will bring out the full schedule of activities and events under the theme Ascenova 2026, as Mensah Sarbah Hall prepares to take the university community on a memorable journey from July 18 to July 25.
