Elizabeth Frances Sey Hall of the University of Ghana has assured students and the university community that its much-anticipated Nexus Xperience 2026 will proceed as planned, promising residents an unforgettable Hall Week celebration filled with entertainment, engagement, and memorable experiences.
The announcement comes amid recent conversations surrounding planned collaborations between some University of Ghana halls hosting their Hall Weeks within the same period. EF Sey Hall has clarified that while some joint activities were initially being explored with other halls, the hall remains an autonomous residential hall with its own independently planned programme of activities.
According to the Hall Week Management and Organising Committee, preparations for Nexus Xperience 2026 are far advanced, with a lineup designed to deliver a complete experience for residents, students, and visitors.
“Elizabeth Frances Sey Hall Week will still come on as planned. Our commitment to delivering an exciting, memorable, and successful Hall Week remains unchanged,” the committee stated.
Themed Nexus Xperience 2026, this year’s celebration features a week-long schedule of activities beginning with Gospel Rock Show on Sunday, July 12, followed by a mix of wellness, entertainment, business, and social events.
The activities include:
Monday, July 13: Health Screening, Pillows and Strings
Tuesday, July 14: Financial Literacy Session, Karaoke and Sip & Paint
Wednesday, July 15: Movie Night and E-Games
Thursday, July 16: Business Breakfast and Nex Play (Games)
Friday, July 17: Cook-Off with Influencers and The Rave
Saturday, July 18: Health Walk, Kenkey Party, Match Day and Jams
A major boost to this year’s Nexus Xperience is the partnership with YFM, Ghana’s leading youth and urban radio brand, which has built a strong reputation for transforming campus experiences and creating unforgettable youth-focused events.
YFM’s influence on University of Ghana campus entertainment has been evident through its involvement in major student events, including the transformation of Sarbha Hall Week and previous editions of Sey World at Elizabeth Frances Sey Hall. Those events attracted massive campus attention following performances from some of Ghana’s biggest music stars, including Black Sherif, Efya and KiDi.
With YFM’s youth culture expertise, entertainment influence, and campus reach, organisers believe Nexus Xperience 2026 will deliver another landmark experience for students.
The Hall Week Committee has encouraged students and stakeholders to rely on official communications from EF Sey Hall while preparations continue.
Students and businesses interested in securing stands during the event can contact 0597781834 or 0245100222.
With a packed schedule of activities and renewed support from one of Ghana’s biggest youth media brands, Elizabeth Frances Sey Hall is positioning Nexus Xperience 2026 as a celebration not to be missed.
