Ms Naa Reviews Shatta Wale’s ‘Umbrella’ video

Host of YFM’s Ryse N Shyne has reviewed Shatta Wale’s Umbrealla video directed by Will Drey.
The video premiered on April 30 and has gathered over 70,000 views now.

“Shatta Wale’s Umbrella was released on 30th of April. Shatta puts efforts into some of his videos; like the one he shot with his wifey up at Palace with them running around the store.
“I don’t know what happened because we know Shatta Wale is animated, he can act and lights up in front of the camera. But this one, I don’t know. This is Umbrella and it takes place on a tarmac, there is a private jet and a thick looking Hispanic chic. He is looking like a Hip Hop boy actually and I’m buying it but that’s all there is to it. Its just them on the tarmac in front of the jet or sitting side by side drinking champagne. What really kills the video is that the vixen looks so not-interested.
“She looked tired in the video, she didn’t look like she had a rest before the video and they had this cheesy low budget shot of her ass all over the place. Very lazy work. I’m sure it didn’t take a lot of time to get it done. I’m not impressed with the creativity. I like the Taking Over video way better and they were not even doing anything in the Taking Over video but drinking. At least, they were performing for the camera. This girl looks bored. If they are not in front of the jet on the tarmac then they are sitting in it drinking champagne. It killed me. It happened so fast. They had champagne flutes and he held up a bottle and it wasn’t a champagne bottle. Were they pouring whisky into a champagne flute or they were drinking a champagne I don’t know of. Champagne bottles have a shape but this was not.
