TV presenter Kokui Selormey has launched her fashion line called “Kokui”. The fashion line which caters for plus size women makes use of Made in Ghana fabrics, Ghanaian brands and artisans as well as authentic materials.
Speaking on what inspired the line, she said “It is often very difficult for us (plus size women) to walk into a shop and find clothes that are our size”.
She further stated that her love for African prints and made in Ghana materials also inspired her to come up with the brand.
The Home Run host revealed that the brand uses custom-made tye and dye fabric, brass symbols, beads, buttons from coconut shells among others.
The website is set to be launched this weekend as the clothes can only be bought online.
