YFM’s Music Director Nana Kwami Adu Gyamfi known in entertainment circles as DJ Killerfingers has revealed that he discovered DJ Mic Smith in his early days.
He also met Radio presenter Jeremih Van-Garshong as a receptionist and introduced her to radio by making her read messages on his show.
Following his knack for recognizing talent, DJ Killerfingers has come up with his record label called “Kill Dem Records”
Apart from being a talent scout; DJ Killerfingers was ranked Number 5 in a survey of African radio disc jockeys.
In an interview with Trigmatic on the MydMorning Radio Show, he disclosed that his first DJ experience was at his mum’s 40th birthday when the dj contracted to play on that day did not show up.
His path to professional DJ began in high school where he spun at records nights.
He gave up on his dreams of being a lawyer to pursue disc jockeying.
Formerly called DJ Kwame, he changed his name to DJ Killerfingers following a series of impersonation.
