Afrobeats artist, Liz White has revealed her readiness to take over the Afrobeats music scene with her latest Afrobeats record ‘Losing Mind Over You’.
The multi-talented musician’s target with this effort is to showcase the dynamism, richness and several of sounds of Africa to the rest of the world.
Liz White at age of 17 joined a Congolese band and after school she decided to move to Jamaica where she lived far out in the mountains, wrote songs and recorded in the studios of Kingston and got deeply involved into Reggae and Dancehall music.
Back in Europe she met the producer and multi-instrumentalist Kwame Yeboah who invited her to work on her music in his legendary Mixstation Studio in Accra where most of Ghana`s top artists including Becca, Kojo Antwi, Efya have made music.
“The idea of an Afrobeats project was born when a musician saw me perform on a jam session and suggested I work on an Afrobeats project which first seemed like a joke to me.” Liz White disclosed.
So in 2018 Liz finally merged her soulful warm voice with the catching energy of Afrobeats on a Kwame Yeboah production to make ‘Losing Mind Over You’.
