Residents of Kumasi and its environs had more than enough music to enjoy last Saturday when some of the best of Ghana’s artistes stormed the Ankaase Lake Side for YFM’s Ankaase Lake Side Party.
The jam, sponsored by Kasapreko’s African Royal Vanilla had on its bill Yaa Pono, Lil Win, Flowking Stone, Eno Barony as well as some underground artistes and pulled a huge crowd to the venue.
Yaa Pono who came earlier than expected got the large crowd screaming on top of their voices.
He continued his performance with popular songs like Shopping Mall, Bibi Nti, Amen and Like That.
Flowking Stone on the other hand had a wonderful day. Arguably one of the popular musicians in the region, the crowd was already singing to his popular songs before he started performing.
Lil Win also thrilled the crowd with hits including Ladder which has been nominated in VGMAs 2018 for Best Highlife song of the Year.
