Stormzy Launches 'The Stormzy Scholarship'

Ghanaian born English grime artiste, Michael Kojo Omari popularly known as Stormzy has launched The Stormzy Scholarship fund.
The fund is to encourage and support black students from underprivileged or disadvantaged backgrounds to study at the university of Cambridge.
The Stormzy Scholarship in partnership with the University of Cambridge will fully fund tuition and maintenance for the 4 year undergrad program  of two black students this year and another two in 2019 at the same university.
The move comes amid concerns about lack of diversity at the Oxbridge University.
Figures published in June showed some Cambridge colleges admitted no black students or accepted as few as one a year between 2012 and 2016.
Entries are open from now till 30th August 2018.
