Actress Princess Shyngle has disclosed that she was in a romantic relationship with former midfielder Michael Essien.
In a recent ıntervıew on the Delay show, she revealed that indeed she was in love with the former black stars player and he with her, but it all had to end when she realized he was married.
In admitting that the two dated she said,
“Ok fine, I dated him.’’
When asked she if she was not aware that Michael was married she said, ‘’no I had no idea he was married and I had no reason to ask hım because I never saw a wedding ring on his finger and there was obviously no pictures of him and a woman on his social media so I assumed he was a single man.’’
According to her, their love affair came to an end after finding out he was very married. She told the host they were not together anymore. ‘’Technically ‘No’. What happened was I got to find out that he was married and that was a deal breaker for me.’’
Explaining how she found out about his marital status she said, ‘’I didn’t ask him, obviously we were out in public which was a very dumb move but yeah we were out in public and I got contacted by some people and they told me, do you know he is married and so I decided to Google and I found out that he was.’’
The actress said she didn’t Google Essien from the start because Google is not reliable.
‘’I don’t Google people, I don’t Google myself and I don’t like it when people Google me because most of the things about me on Google are lies,’’ she said
Princess Shyngle who shared what she got out of the relationship did not see the big deal in what he public disclosure of this love affair could do to the footballer’s marriage.
“Yeah I got love out of it, we loved each other, he was my boyfriend, it’s just rather unfortunate that he is popular and I am popular as well and that’s why it’s probably a big deal but I am human and he is human as well. Yeah it happened, he was my boyfriend for about a year,’’ she said.
Princess is looking forward to dating Emmanuel Seyi Adebayor, another popular footballer, she agreed to talking to him and said they talk about dating some day but she is yet to Google hım to a avoid a repetition of being oblivious to his marital status.
“Yeah I talk to him, he is a gorgeous guy, he is a good looking guy. We talk about stuff like dating some day, I don’t know. Yeah I think he is single, I’m yet to Google him.
