Shatta Wale sent Ghana’s music industry into a frenzy after he attacked his colleagues including Sarkodie, Stonebwoy and more in a recent radio interview.
The outspoken Dancehall act revealed he felt disrected by Sarkodie when he refused to shoot a video for a collaboration the two acts worked on in the past.
The Taking Over hitmaker also revealed he called on Stonebwoy several times for a collabo but he refused to follow through.
Social media was flooded with reactions to Shatta’s statements but here is how Joey B, Worlasi, Gemini, M.anifest and others reacted.
Joey B – “Shatta is my father and Kwaw is also my father but I don’t think this thing is important. Right now we are at the moment where our industry is shaky and not stable so I think we should focus on how to build it internationally for us not to go and stand somewhere for people to behave they don’t know us. We should focus on how to market our things out there for them to know us and not beef.” Joey B advised.
I Feel like There’s no organized industry and instead of us to come together and have a solid 10yr plan “we dey waste time dey fight wona body”… “we the kiddies dey look up to you ooo. Ei but Me sef adey grow oh lol” #waaaska

I agree. @shattawalegh would be all vocal about ‘unity’ amongst artistes but would turn around and do a song with you but not show up for the video shoot like he did for my song “DROMO” with him and EL. Many others I know of as well. That’s a FAKE if you asked me. He-too-FAKE!!
