The 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is done and dusted! The event took place at the newly constructed dome adjacent the Accra International Conference Centre and saw performances from from top Ghanaian and international artistes including veterans.
Unfortunately, two categories were not announced on the night.
But in a latest interview, Kwami Sefa Kayi who co-hosted the awards night with Bella Mundi disclosed in an interview that the two categories left were for Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
“It was left with two awards. I think ‘Song of the Year’ and ‘Artiste of the Year’. One was for Shatta Wale and the other for Stonebwoy. There was no way we could have announced those categories because if we had announced it and what happened repeated itself, what would we have done.“
