Twitter is giving Android users a better way to access their lists on the platform. By pinning up to five Twitter lists, users can now swipe through them as alternative timelines.
Back in September last year, Twitter started allowing iOS users to turn their lists into timelines that they could easily swipe through. The feature is now being rolled out on Twitter for Android, allowing users to pin up to five different Twitter lists and be able to swipe between them as alternatives to their home feed.
On Android? Now you can pin Lists to swipe over to them from your Home tab too!
We’re rolling this out starting today. https://t.co/jbLZpi4joG— Twitter Support (@TwitterSupport) March 3, 2020
Using Twitter lists is a great way to keep up to date with accounts that you may not want to follow on the platform. Alternatively, they offer an easy way to curate lists of specific accounts around a particular topic or theme.
The new feature on Android essentially brings the app up-to-date with the iOS app and TweetDeck. The latter has given lists a lot of importance over the years, and the iOS app gives users an easy way to swipe between their favorite lists on mobile devices.
