The JMJ ‘Riddim of the gods‘ had a lot of buzz in January when it was released. It featured a lot of great artiste in the industry. The most talked about song out of all is “Lonely” which featured Emmanuel Essel known in showbiz as Jah Lead . His vocal prowess, harmonies and ad lips on the song is just phenomenal.
That has actually earned him a back to back airplay on Western Region’s number one late afternoon show, The Dryve of your Lyfe on Y97.9fm with PM and DJ Edita.
Jah Lead In a conversation with Nana Quasi-Wusu (PM) on The Dryve, revealed that he is not new to the industry
“I have been around for some years now, but professionally it’s been six years.”
He also mentioned that he was under High Grade Family – a record label owned by Samini for some years but currently on his own.
When he was quizzed about his song writing skills he said “I have written songs for several artiste including Kaakie but those projects were not released. I also assisted Kofi Kinaata in writing his hit song “Play”.
Jah Lead is currently promoting his new single Sister Mercy.
