Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Kesse, has openly stated that he does not care what people think of his decision to leave secular music for gospel.
In an interview on Happy FM’s Showbiz Xtra with host, Dr. Cann, he asserted that the only thing he cares about is his salvation and not what people think.
“Even after I have given my life to Christ, I am still fighting for my salvation. If you’re not dead, you’re still fighting for salvation. If I decide to go back to secular music, I don’t think it will help me so whatever people are thinking, I don’t care”, he said.
This came after he was asked by Dr. Cann what the society that he built as a secular artiste, thinks of his sudden switch.
Approximately two years ago, Kesse denounced secular music because he explained that he had an encounter with Jesus Christ. He is now a gospel musician and preaches the word of God as well.
