#YRefresh: Why you can’t miss the Myd Morning Radio show

Ghana’s number one youth oriented station, Y107.9 is embarking on the ‘Y Refresh’ campaign to bring listeners a new trend of exciting content from talented men and women in radio.
Host of YFM’s Myd Morning Radio show (MMRS), Rev.Erskine in an interview with Foster Romanus on the Late Nite celebrity show explained that YFM has seen the need as the pacesetter to add fresh trends to the urban airwaves for the satisfaction of the listeners.
“We are the pacesetters and as pacesetters we always have the bragging right and the natural right to change the game whenever we feel like. It is a whole new trend blowing on the urban airwaves. I mean we are bringing new faces and new voices, new music. We are just adding a whole lot to make it new”, he told Foster Romanus.
He noted that the new content to be unleashed were made up of a healthy mix of fun, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) driven initiatives, interactions, giveaways and some forms of investment in the development of the youth.
Speaking about the Myd Morning show, he disclosed that a new content dubbed the Y Leaderboard Series has been added to inspire the youth to pursue their dreams. He added that some renowned men and women such as Kennedy Agyapong, John Dumelo, Joyce Aryee, Azumah Nelson, Patrick Awuah Jnr of Ashesi and Frank Adu Jnr. of Calbank have been interviewed on this series.
Rev.Erskine noted that all the segments, namely, vitamin Y;a source of motivation; interactive plug of the day; jam spot;COVID-19 update and theme month, were all prepared to motivate the listeners. He thus encouraged all to tune in to the motivational Myd Morning show on YFM.
DJ for the show, DJ Ganj, on his part, disclosed that the Y Refresh campaign did not mean something had changed. It only meant that the passion and zeal to serve listeners had increased. He noted that the teamwork at Y107.9 has massively contributed to the great content the station offers to listeners.
The Myd Morning Radio show on Y107.9 airs Monday to Friday from 9am-12am.
