The Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Company’s (GMABC) fantasy league is back with full force after a long interrupted break due to the COVID-19 pandemic that hit not only the economy but the sporting world as well.
After the COVID-19 pandemic broke out globally, the English Premier League (EPL) was suspended over a 100 day period as the UK authorities sought out measures to control the spread of the virus.
During that period, the culmination of lots of hard work and consultations with clubs, players, managers, other organizations and particularly with government took place to find ways for the league to restart.
Finally, a consensus has been reached and the EPL resumes on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 with Aston Villa v Sheffield United and Manchester City v Arsenal, with millions of fans around the world expressing their anticipation over the league’s return after the 100-day gap.
Along with the resumption of the league is the fantasy league which gives football lovers the opportunity to virtually manage their own teams and have a real feel of the league.
