Ghanaian Hiphop musician, Samuel Adu Frimpong popularly known as Medikal has asserted that he is more than just a rapper.
Referring to himself as a preacher and not just a musician he stated that, lots of Ghanaians are listening to him because he makes a lot of sense when he sings.
“I’m doing music and I am doing what I know the people love and jam with. People are already stressed with issues from their work and home so I want anyone who listens to me to be happy”, he said.
Talking to Rev Erskine on Y 107.9 FM’s Myd Morning Radio Show he added, “When it comes to Medikal, I preach a lifestyle. I’m not just a rapper. I make everyone who listens to me know that it is important to make money”.
He went further to say, anyone who listens to him should be someone who is ready to grind, hustle and make money. “If you’re not ready for any of these, then don’t listen to Medikal”, the musician advised.
Addressing the issue of why he always talks about money he said, “every artiste has what they sing about and mine is money. We’re all working for money so if you’re one who doesn’t want to make money in this life, then do not listen to Medikal because that is what I’ll always talk about”.
For the rapper, he believes he is an entertainer, preacher, and one who has to make money out of his music.
