Suraka Fuseni, widely recognized as DJ Suraka in the showbiz world is a disc jockey and music producer. He realized his talent in DJ-ing while in high school and he played his first gig at a nightclub back in 1985.

After joining YFM in 2013, he played as the official DJ for the Y Lounge which airs from 7 pm-10 pm on weekdays for 6 years, and later hopped onto “Shouts on Y” which is also aired from 12 pm to 3 pm, Monday to Friday. He also DJs on another weekend show called the “Boombox” every Saturday from 3 pm to 6 pm.

DJ Suraka won 1st Runner Up at the Nescafe DJs competition in the year 2000 and received nominations for Best Radio DJ and Best Night Club DJ of the year at the Western Music Awards at Club Felisa in 1996, as well as Best Night Club DJ at Fridays Night Club in 2003 and 2004.
