Terrence John Akuaku Jnr, known by his stage name TJDJ is a radio host, hype man and an ambidextrous DJ.

He started as a hype man in 2004 after high school and got introduced into disc jockeying in 2005 by his uncle, DJ Ice.

TJDJ played at several nightclubs and shows even while schooling to attain a higher level of education at the Radio Broadcasting Development Foundation (RABODEF) back in 2008.

In 2019, he joined Y97.9FM-Takoradi and he is currently the host of the Friday Nyte Myx which airs from 7 pm to 12 am every Friday.

TJDJ has been nominated twice at the Ghana DJ Awards, and in September 2020, he released the biggest reggae dancehall song which featured good talents in Takoradi such as Kebra and Nemesis Loso. He is currently the reigning hype man after winning the best Hype man at the just ended Y Clash of the DJs 2021 edition.
