The YFM Hunters Pool Tournament is an activation which aims at bringing together all lovers and players of the pool game to compete against each other and become the ultimate Pool star in the country. The tournament will take place at different locations across 6 regions in Ghana; Greater Accra, Ashanti Region, Western Region, Central Region, Bono Region and Eastern Region.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

  1. All players must abide and agree to the ‘Entry Criteria’, ‘Tournament Format’ and ‘Conditions of YFM HUnters Pool Tournament 2021’, as set out within the website and advertisements.
  2. The game shall be played to the following rules communicated by the referee at the event. This would be done before the commencement of each game.
  3. The Organisers reserve the right to change tournament format and prize fund at any time, the Organisers decision is final. Only complaints submitted to the Organisers in writing will be considered.
  4. Players that submit false information may be banned from the event.
  5. The Organisers reserve the right to cancel a player’s registration at any time.
  6. Registered players may be asked to provide proof of their identity at the tournament.
  7. The organisers reserve the right to take whatever action is necessary to ensure fair play and smooth running of the tournament. The Time Foul Rule of 60 or 30 seconds per shot will be enforced at the Organisers discretion if the gameplay is considered slow and hindering the tournaments progress.
  8. Registered players agree to their picture being taken at the event and used in future publicity, uploaded to any social media platform by the organiser and partners. Pictures of players may also be used on future printed materials.
  9. Registered players agree to be filmed for the purposes of streaming matches live on the internet. Streamed matches will be archived and made available for future viewing.
  10. Players or teams who do not play within the spirit of the game, behave in an unsportsmanlike way, act aggressively, spoil the enjoyment of others or bring the tournament into disrepute, risk being banned from future events.
  11. Any player whose supporters misbehave is liable to be disqualified.
  12. A player may ask a referee to clarify any rule prior to taking a shot. Disputing a referee’s/organiser’s decision is considered unsporting behaviour.
  13. Any player found cheating may forfeit any prize monies and risk being banned from future events.
