Social media is bubbling with impressions of gratitude and appreciation of Ghanaian Afrobeats singer and songwriter, Raphael Kofi Attachie, identified in the music fraternity as Camidoh, for being nominated as for Best New International Act.
Camidoh, recently bagged a nomination for BET ‘Best New International Act’ along with various musicians across the African continent and beyond. Camidoh among other African nominees at the awards ceremony which was held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, Carlifornia , stood against Nigeria’s Asake, United Kingdom’s FLO and Raye, France’s Maureen and Werenoi, Brazil’s MC Ryan SP, and Paris’ Cooper in their bid to win the award, lost by a slim margin to Cameroonian singer and songwriter, Libianca.
However, tweeps, applauded Camidoh for a good work done, stating that Camidoh was a winner right from BET’s nomination stage. An iconic tweep said, “To us you won the award the day you were nominated; Congrats Camidoh.”
