Happy FM-Marina Park Family Fun Run to be held across four cities

The 10th edition of the Happy FM-Marina Park Family Fun Run will be held across four cities, the organizers have announced.
This year’s event is set to take place on 6th March 2020 at the Lakeside Marina Park and will be held simultaneously at Takoradi, Kumasi, and Tamale.
The event was launched on Tuesday 21 January 2020 at the Silver Star Tower and in attendance were Ernest Boateng Chief Executive Officer of Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Company, Director of Lakeside Estate, Mr. Salah Kweku Kalmoni and the Park manager for Lakeside Estate Frederick Kissie.
Speaking at the event, Director of Lakeside Estate, Salah Kweku Kalmoni disclosed that as part of the new initiatives to be introduced this year, the Family Fun run will be held across four cities at the various Silver Star offices.
He added that the event is aimed at bringing together families, individuals and schools to promote a healthy lifestyle and celebrate Ghana’s 63rd Independence Day through physical exercises.
“The Lakeside Marina/Happy FM Family Fun Run is a family event held annually on Independence Day, to encourage healthy living among Ghanaians.”
Mr. Ernest Boateng, Chief Executive Officer of Global Media Alliance Group said “the main aim behind the annual Family Fun Run is to provide a good opportunity for families, individuals and students to exercise and network.”
He encouraged all Happy FM listeners and the general public to participate in the event.
