Twitter users have described the coincidence of Akuapem Poloo’s bail grant and Nana Agradaa’s arrest as a ‘police go, soldier come’ situation, as we used to describe substitution during childhood.
Akuapem Poloo was granted bail by the Accra High Court following her lawyer’s application to appeal the 90-day jail sentence which was handed to her by the Accra Circuit Court.
Self-acclaimed rich priestess, Nana Agradaa, was also arrested earlier today for her scam tactics, with her two television stations, Thunder TV and Ice 1 TV shut down. According to reports, the arrest is part of security agencies’ efforts to dismantle the activities of spiritualists on media platforms.
Comments from people on Twitter on this issue will have you rolling on the floor. While others are mocking the priestess and praying she is imprisoned for years for her dubious deeds, others are also recounting their experiences with her and how she duped and caused her guards to beat them.
