Ghanaian born British Producer and artiste, DJ Kwamzy announces his return tothe limelight bringing Amapiano and amazing vibes to his fans.
Following the release of the first part of the Amapiano To The World instalment last year, currently sitting on almost half a million streams on all platforms, Kwamzy has decided he would like to thrill fans with a Volume 2 for the anniversary of the initial project.
The forthcoming project which will be Kwamzy’s third body of work will drop on the 9th July,2021.
This project was majorly produced, mixed and mastered by none other than Kwamzy himself from his home studio.
Gunning for a much more cosmopolitan approach to this project, Kwamzy recruits acts with different influences from the UK, SOUTH AFRICA, GHANA and the US.
The Ep features voices of acts like Yung D3mz, CIZA, Anita Jaxson,BuMan, Sango, Mojvki, JayDream, Avanthay, Sipho The Gift, C Biggz, NiiQuaye amongst others. The EP comprises of 7 songs spanning from different touchpoints: love,
meditation, serenity, heartbreaks, etc. It is clearly evidence that there is a song
for every mood on this project.
The magic of the log drums and the piano accentuates all corners of this project.
Kwamzy said,“I have been and still obsessed with challenging myself and my craft. Music is my go-to place, more like therapy for me, whether I’m happy or I’m sad, I make music. These allow my music to generally express my emotions while producing.”
While each song varies in tone and message, best believe every focus of the project is something he was experiencing while channeling his creative juices and directing for this collection of songs.
The team behind this project are very confident. The trust in this project has permitted them to enter a mutually beneficial partnership with African music distribution giants Africori.
With all these arsenals set in place, the goal is to make ‘Amapiano to the world’, a household name by the time the final installment of the ‘Amapiano to the world’ drops hopefully next year.
For the next project, Kwamzy is eyeing a lineup of superstars, a much bigger project and a potential concert to celebrate three years of unlocking his infinity stone in the Amapiano universe.
