Ghanaian Afrobeats artiste, Mista Myles has expressed that, he went all out for his new 4-track E.P, titled ‘Unread Messages’.
According to him, he really invested a lot into this E.P because, “I actually for once put myself into this E.P. We did not just sit down to plan or say let’s record these songs and put together an E.P but, we put together random songs from different times which all meant something to me.”
In an interview with Brown Berry on Y107.9 FM’s RyseNShyne Show, he said, “I was talking to my producers and they were like they feel we’ve put out some great works but we should consider doing more better than what we’ve put out.”
He disclosed that, each song on the E.P describes and talks about how he was feeling at a particular point in time.
Explaining why he chose to name the E.P ‘Unread Messages’, he shared, “There were things I wanted to say but I didn’t know how to say them for people to understand so, I just put them in such a way I could, which is through music.”
Talking about how well the music industry is treating him, he mentioned that it has treated him well and he is impressed with his growth.
“I’ve had a lot of time to grow and I feel this E.P is more like the team getting me to go out and dare more because the past few months has been hard but I’ve been able to grow a lot,” he added.
