Talented Ghanaian singer, A.I addressed by Bra Ayisi in other circles has chronicled his work on the Linkop album with versatile rapper E.L.

According to A.I, E.L reached out to him after a Tuesday live band performance dubbed ‘Unplugged’ at Reggie Rockstone’s office.

“He was there with other artistes and after my performance he told me to come to the studio so we record. Prior to that we already had a song titled Shine. After that work we built the rapport and I showed up after his invite from Reggie’s office.”

A.I revealed that he and E.L were supposed to work on one song but after the first song was done, the vibe was there and they kept recording more songs. “We recorded a 2nd and a 3rd song and by the end of the 2nd week, we had recorded a bunch of songs.”

He told Kokonsa Kester on Y107.9FM’s Weekend Rush show.

The duo then selected a couple of songs for the Linkop album. “It was unplanned. It was from unplugged to unplanned to the Linkop and we just moved on from there,” he spoke about his work with E.L.

The 7-Track masterpiece dubbed “The Linkop” is a daring combination of different musical influences from Afrobeat to Dancehall to Reggae fusion; a body of work that has an alternative feel and an eclectic vibe. The aim of this project was for purely good vibes and to give the listener a multifaceted experience from two of Africa’s most creative and dynamic music talents.

The Linkop” makes for an exciting explorative look into the creative prowess of E.L and A.I. All music was produced and recorded by E.L. The album has no features and explored topics from love and hustle to things like recreational drugs. The release of the 7-track project is highly anticipated and expected to receive a lot of positive reviews from fans of E.L, A.I. and music fans in general.
