Nigerian musician Harrison Okiri better known as Harrysong has listed some few Ghanaian musicians he believes are the best among the rest.
During an interview with YFM’s Kokonsa Kester on the Weekend Rush show, the instrumentalist and songwriter was asked to give his top five Ghanaian musicians.
In response, Harry stated: “I will choose Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, and Gyakie. You have amazing musicians topping the chart”.
The musician described the experience of collaborating with Ghanaian artistes as “electrifying”.
According to him, Nigerians and Ghanaians have a vibe that each can relate to and as such collaborating on a song is one of the easiest things both countries can do together.
“The vibe is always electrifying when Ghana-Nigeria collaborates. I did a song with Stonebwoy on the ‘Right About Now’ EP and it is always electrifying because of the connection of the motherland. Ghana is Nigeria and Nigeria is Ghana. We vibe the same. We never miss it anytime we come together. It is always fire”
Harrysong has released a new dancehall track called “Sawanale,” which was created by Dalor Beats.
“Sawanale” is Harrysong’s second official single of the year, after the release of “Piompiompiom,” which was produced by Philkeyz.
