Ghanaian musician, Captain Planet has disclosed the relevance of social media in contemporary times and the effects it has on the music industry.
He mentioned to Y 107.9 FM’s Kojo Manuel during the ‘Dryve Of Your Lyfe’ show that social media had become the biggest platform and a powerful tool musicians could use to promote their songs and videos.
“It is really important because things are changing like you said, not everyone listens to radio or watches TV. The TV stations even upload their programs on social media after their live shows. Social media is the biggest platform now, and for musicians it is one of the powerful tools we are to take advantage of and promote our music”, he said.

“We are all using it, I don’t care about those who are not using it”, he added.
