Ghanaian hip hop musical group, La Meme Gang is back with new singles and an album after a long break.
The group went on a break after false allegations were levelled against two of its members.
The first allegation was made against Joshua.E. Mensah known as RJZ by an anonymous Twitter account that disclosed that he had raped her friend whilst Paul N.A. Darko popularly known as Darkovibes, on the other hand, was accused of attempted rape by a lady who also spoke under anonymity. She said it happened when they were in high school.
Speaking on Y107.9FM’s Dryve of your Lyfe show with Jonny Stone, the group revealed that they would release their new album next year and also their new singles soon. According to them, they have 12 to 16 song tapes and two new singles, dubbed ‘Gye Gye Me So’ and ‘Bo Nsam’
They also mentioned that they have a lot of artistes they wish to collaborate with and this includes highlife musician King Promise.
La Meme Gang explained that after their break out from the music circles, they got separated with each of them making their own music and enjoying life.
La Meme Gang is a collective music group based in Ghana made up of Nxwrth, Spacely, Darkovibes, Kiddblack, Kwaku Bs and RJZ. They have many hits songs which include ‘Reveal’, ‘Snakes’ and ‘This Year’.
