YFM is known for its support for the entertainment and creative industry. This year the brand has come out with an innovative package geared towards lending support for Christmas events and activations. One of such events is the Wildaland festivals.
The Wildaland festival many believe is “Africa’s Glastonbury” since it is a music and entertainment lifestyle festival which promises to provide diverse entertainment atmosphere with a blend of the best real-time social content. It seeks to merge the best of both African audiences in the ‘Wild’ every December in Ghana.

Deejay Loft
Commonly known to be Solomon Obeng, DJ Loft is a radio, club, and events disc jockey. He is mostly known for his flawless selections on YFM Accra’s morning show #RyseNShyne and Cup and Bass mixtapes. He also gained nominations in the 2021 Ghana DJ Awards under the Afrobeat/Hiplife DJ of the Year and Mixtape of the Year categories.
DJ Mic Smith
Well noticed for his amazing mixes on YFM’s “The Dryve” Show, Michael Owusu Smith, known in the entertain circles as DJ Mic Smith is also the C.E.O of Shutdown Empire, a club, event, radio and artist DJ. He is well decorated with several awards like the Red Bull DJ Champion, 4syte TV DJ of the year, Ghana DJ Awards event and also dropped hit songs including, Yenkor featuring Kwesi Arthur, the biggest Christmas banger “Jama” featuring Patoranking and Lil Shaker and “Juju”. The Shutdown King has played shows in over 40 African countries including the South West Four Festival and The Ministry of Sound 2018.
Mz Orstin
She is the official DJ for YFM’s Weekend Rush and the Y top 20countdown show. She is also the resident Friday night DJ at AM & PM Lounge, and the on-deck DJ for Vodafone’s staff internet radio on Friday’s (2 pm – 5 pm) on RedFM. She has also been featured in many events, such as the ‘Rexona do more concert 2014”, playing as a guest DJ at the Ghana Music Awards 2017, Girl talk concert 2016 & 2017, Miss Malaika 2017 & 2018, among several others.
Kojo Manuel
Kojo Manuel is a Ghanaian radio presenter, event host, and a master of MCs. He is the resident MC for Carbon Night Club and the previous host of Party Pressure on Saturday Nights. He has been nominated twice for Best Club MC Award at the Ghana DJ Awards 2017 & 2018 and also the Jack Daniels Nightlife Awards 2018. He also has to his collection the Best MC at the Ghana DJ Awards 2019. He also won the award for the Best Youth MC & Media Personality at the FAME Awards 2018. He has compered in several events including the AFRIMA Music Village Concert, Ghana Meets Naija, Boiler Room Accra and a previous host of Afrochella.
Mensah Junior
He is a Ghanaian events compere and a multi-talented broadcast journalist. He boasts of several years of experience in the media space and in MCing. He is the current host of YFM’s weekday show, “Dryve of Your LYfe”. He is inspired to be the best or at least among the best media and communications personnel in the country and beyond.
Top notch YFM DJs and Presenters have been included in the elite list and promises to deliver outstanding sounds with the discs. Notable names include Kojo Manuel, Mic Smith, Kojo Manuel, Ad DJ, Mz Orstin, Deejay Loft, and Mensah Junior.
