Known for the best of ‘Edutainment’ on Ghana’s airwaves, YFM through its #YHolidayHavoc initiative is partnering with major events happening this December in and around the capital city Accra.
The Gold Coast Carnival is one of Ghana’s most patronized beach events that share the taste and feel of Ghanaian, African, Black music lifestyle, food and culture in December. This year’s edition also promises to be exciting and full of fun, some of YFM’s notable and talented Disc Jockers billed for the night include;
DJ Mic Smith
The ‘Shutdown King’ as he is popularly called. His mixes and amazing live Disc Jockeying performances are one you dare not to miss. DJ Mic Smith is the Official DJ of the ‘Dryve of your Lyfe’ show on Y 107.9 FM and also the first-ever Ghanaian DJ to organize a DJ concert in 2017.
Mz Orstin
Known for her profound love of Drill Music, Mz Orstin will thrill you with both local and international Drill tunes. Popularly called the party ‘Kingpin’, Mz Orstin as always will accompany her electrifying performances with great dance moves and you don’t want to miss that. She is also the official DJ for the ‘Weekend Rush’ show on Y 107.9 FM.
DJ Edita
Richard Yeboah known as DJ Edita in showbiz is the official DJ of the ‘Dryve of your Lyfe’ and ‘YCE’ show on Y 97.9 FM. DJ Edita is certainly going to warm you with his Disc Jockey skills with the best of tunes from a wide range of music genres.
DJ Coleda
Give him the turntables and he is going to turn you up. DJ Coleda is one you should look out for at this year’s Gold Coast Carnival. His exceptional Disc Jockey performances will keep on your feet dancing.
AD DJ
Known as the ‘People’s Champ’ AD DJ is gradually becoming a household name in the entertainment industry and Disc Jockey fraternity. His unique and effortless style of Disc Jockey has earned him several appearances at high profile events and not the Gold Coast Carnival. He is going to sweep you off your feet with spectacular mixes.
This year’s Gold Coast Carnival promises to be exciting and entertaining with performances from A-list artistes in Ghana including Efya, La Meme Gang, Gyakie M.anifest, Mr Drew, Mz Vee, Gyedu Blay Ambuley, Ben Brako and two-time Grammy Awards nominee Rocky Dawuni.
The event comes off at the Wakanda beach resort in Kasoa on the 26th day of December 2021.
