Barak Mintah Brown, an entertainment pundit has justified the actions of Ghanaian media personality and socialite to her alleged bipolar disorder.
Speaking on Y 97.9 FM’s entertainment review show, ‘Y Entertainment Podium’ with Macall Mensah, Mr. Brown described bipolar patients as individuals who speak fondly of the things they loved most and that those were the actions Abena Korkor was portraying.
“Bipolar doesn’t mean an individual doesn’t know what he or she is doing, If somebody has bipolar, usually the person speaks fond of what got him or her happy, The one thing that most of them remember, something that can’t leave her head or her mind,’ he said.
He further mentioned that people were criticizing and having doubts about her because of the frequent nature of her ‘revelations’ but could be true.
“Now she is saying something, but then people are trying to lambast her just because of the reoccurring nature of what is going by the situation, whatever thing she is saying could be true,” he added.
Speaking to why she mentioned names of only prominent people in the country, Mr Brown noted that Abena was mentioning the names of people she knew and not people she had not met.
“She is mentioning the names of people she knows and not people she hasn’t met,” he said.
Abena Korkor in recent times has mentioned names of male celebrities and politicians who have solicited from her. Some she agreed and others she turned down, putting them to public ridicule and mistrust. Some names she has mentioned in National Lottery Authority Boss Sammy Awuku, seasoned broadcaster Abeiku Santana, Chairman of the ruling National Patriotic Party (NPP).
