Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Exclusive Events Ghana Limited (EEGL) and Miss Ghana 2004, Inna Patty, has recounted her previous experience in the pageantry as she describes it as competitive and entertaining.
According to Inna Patty, she deems the competition as “highly informative and educative” as she took lots of cues from their committed chaperon.
During an interview on the “Y Leaderboard Series” segment on Y107.9FM’s Myd Morning Radio Show with Rev. Erskine, she disclosed that she bonded well with most of her competitors in the pageantry and have kept ties with them through to this day.
“Miss Ghana was very competitive with ladies from all walks of lives. Our chaperon who was a lecture at UCC, a tough lady and a strong woman, we learnt a lot from her. It was very educative, highly informative and entertaining. I remember Yvonne, a science student from Weh Gey Hey in the competition. Yvonne now a lawyer was very intelligent. She was always the life of a party. She eventually moved a bit into acting as well,” she recalled.
Ms Inna Patty further revealed that around that time everyone in Ghana stood behind them with massive support making the atmosphere overwhelming.
“We also had that national support from every tom, dick and harry. I don’t think we had anybody who was trying to deliberately malign the brand for others to survive but that feel of national support was there. There was pride and great feeling around,” she added
