Award winning, highlife musician, Kwabena Kwabena, has revealed why he went on hibernation.
According to him, he has some personal things that needed to handle, hence his decision to take time off to concentrate on them.
In an interview with Nana Quasi-Wusu (PM) in Y97.9FM’s ‘Dryve of Your Lyfe Show’, Kwabena Kwabena stated, “I also wanted to concentrate on my construction bits. I’m a construction technician and most people don’t know about that, I put that on hold for close to 14 years to pursue active music, not doing anything I went to school (Accra Polytechnic) to read.
He stressed that after pondering over it, he decided to give himself a little time to get acquainted with it.
“And as a matter of fact, I love creativity. I can’t choose construction over music because I love both. I consider both as my passion and unfortunately I was missing out on the construction side but I have decided to catch up,” he explained.
He added that, now he is happy because he is pursuing both loves equally, describing it as a beautiful thing for him to do.
To him, his comeback has been overwhelming and appreciated all who support him and his music.
