Ekow Blankson, a seasoned Ghanaian actor, has been confirmed deceased.
According to reports, Ekow Blankson, the commercial manager of the online news site Ghanaweb, passed away today.
The announcement was made on Accra-based Hitz FM’s Twitter page, but no other information was provided on thehis passing.
In films like Borga, Frozen Emotion, Savannah, In April, Checkmate, Illusions, A Woman Scorned, Pool Party, Famous, and others, Ekow Blankson was well-known for playing the lead role.
He was chosen to be the Commercial Manager of the prominent news portal GhanaWeb in 2021.
Mr. Blankson held positions as managing director, director of brands and corporate communications, and general manager (Luv FM and Nhyira FM) with media firms like TV Africa, Media General Ghana Limited, and Multimedia Broadcasting Company.
His fondest memory with YFM was when he took turns on the youth-inspiring Y Leaderboard Series to empower the younger generations to strive for excellence in their respective fields.
