Ghana’s finest female DJ and Wicked Vibes Records frontliner, DJ Coleda continues to exude class and glory throughout the year.
After graciously being nominated for four award categories for the 2022 Ghana DJ Awards, Y102.5 FM Kumasi’s DJ Coleda gets crowned as the 2022 “Female DJ of the Year” at the 10th annual awards show.
Over the course of the year in review, DJ Coleda pounded in an amazing run behind the turntables, winning the “Best DJ” performance at the “Y Clash of the DJs,” delighting fans at numerous locations, including the “Ankaase Lakeside Party,” the pinnacle urban party.
“Counting my blessings each day but this year has been overwhelming thanks to my team and everyone at YFM. I’m thankful to the organizers of the Ghana DJ Awards for the recognition and spotlight. You know you get prep up and continue to wait for the opportunity and within a minute the right one will cross your path; that’s when you hit it hard. That has been my story and I’m proud of this very moment,” DJ Coleda shared.
On his part Programmes Manager of Y102.5 FM-Kumasi, Nathaniel Osei Kuffuor added, “To say we are proud is an understatement. Team YFM is very happy for ths big win from DJ Coleda. On Saturday, November 5, at the Silver Star Tower, the 2022 Ghana DJ Awards, an event designed to honour the finest DJs and songs of the year as well as the biggest figures in the business, the well-known mixtapes, and the most influential people, was held.
The 10th annual Ghana DJ Awards presentation, which was hosted by Grammy Award-winning DJ and radio host Andy Dosty, featured some major victories, heartfelt tributes, and major performances, including a surprise appearance by ‘Soja’ hitmaker Black Sheriff.
