Ghanaian renowned rapper Sherrif Ismail Kwaku Frimpong known to showbiz as Black Sherrif has shared how he was recruited as one of the featured artistes on Sarkodie’s JAMZ album.
The hip hop rapper revealed that he spotted a JAMZ album anticipation post made by King Sark and immediately hit him up to express his eagerness to be on the album. “Sark had posted the flyer for the album, so I hit him up, and I was like Landlord I have to be on this album.” he reminisced.
“I said Landlord you are forgetting something, and he said Oh Blacko.” Black Sherrif delightfully recounted the story behind the birthing of Sarkodie’s ‘Country Side’ featuring Black Sherrif. He further hinted that Country Side was a song selected out of three songs they made together for the JAMZ album which implied more is set to come from the hitmaking duo.
Aside Country Side, the JAMZ album consists of other exciting bangers like Labadi featuring King Promise, ‘Better Days’ featuring BNXN as equally chart topping tunes.
