United States Vice President Kamala Harris earlier today paid a visit to the Vibrate Studios in Accra to meet up with Ghanaian creatives.
Kamala Harris met up with talented Ghanaians from the arts and entertainment industry including the likes of Black Sherif, Amaarae, Joey B, Mensa, Baaba J, Ria boss, the Masked DJ and renowned Ghanaian poet Asantewaa.
She was joined by American author and actress Sheryl Lee Ralph and English actor Edris Elba.
This is believed to be part of Harris’ efforts to engage directly with young creatives and highlight the dynamism and creativity in Ghana and across African countries.
Kamala Harris’ visit to the Ghanaian creative hub spotlights the growing creative economy and underscores the strong links between Ghana’s artistic and diaspora communities.

This comes hours after her interaction with President Akufo-Addo and the press at the Jubilee House after her arrival on Sunday, March 26 – kicking off her first official visit to Africa since taking office. During her trip, Harris is expected to focus on economic and commercial ties, climate change, and regional security.
