Fuse ODG, the Ghanaian-British Afrobeats artiste and “Off Da Ground” boss has likened record label signee, Leftizzle to the late music superstar, Castro D’destroyer.

He believes that Leftizzle has all the right qualities to become a global superstar as he portrays unique artistic characteristics similar to Castro.

In a recent interview on Y 107.9 FM’s “Myd Morning Radio Show” with Rev Erskine, Fuse ODG discussed his latest project with Leftizzle as he shows unwavering confidence in Leftizzle being the next big Ghanaian act.

“Most people know him as a dancer but he’s so talented I just don’t recognize him as a dancer,” Fuse ODG said about Leftizzle. “He reminds me of so many people in one. I feel like I see some element of Castro in him cause his songwriting is so good and he has a global Afrobeats sound to his voice so I’m super excited for you guys to hear what he brings to the table.”

Fuse ODG went on to explain that his goal with Leftizzle is to build a long-term brand and expand the territory for Ghanaian music. “This is just the beginning. We want to build for a very long time and you can’t build a brand overnight. So it’s one step at a time and for me, he has so many amazing songs that the main mission is to get it out there, build a sound and a brand for him and just have him in different corners of the world performing. It’s all about expanding the territory and I kind of feel like Ghana music needs to be out there.”

During the interview, Fuse ODG also discussed his journey as an artiste and the importance of staying true to one’s roots. “Ghana music needs to get out there but we start at home and that’s why we are here,” he said. “We have to start here, put the ground works in place and right now this is the ground work I’m doing with Leftizzle. This is the foundation and introduction to Leftizzle. Just making sure that the people understand how talented he is.”

Fuse ODG is currently on a media tour with Leftizzle promoting their latest single, “Kiki”.
